I love Thomas Muster!

The man has guts! Big time!

From coming back from injury and practising in a wheelchair to making a return to the ATP Tour at the ripe old age of 43, he’s shown  that there’s still life in the old dog!

Samantha Stosur is making her presence felt at the year ending Doha WTA championships.

She has kayoed both Schiavone and Wozniacki in her opening two matches.

If she goes on to win the tournament, it will be a great end to a wonderful year on the Tour.

If she can carry this form into next year’s Australian Open, we could see a new Grand Slam champion.

But let’s not let my enthusiasm run ahead of me!

Here’s wishing her good luck!

Sania Mirza believes that MS Dhoni’s hometown Ranchi can produce the next big tennis star from India.

Sania was inaugurating a tennis academy there this Thursday.

Most of the medal winning stars at the CommonWealth Games 2010, New Delhi were from second tier cities.

A major chunk of the young hopefuls for places in the Indian cricketing side also hail from second tier towns.
