PR Sreejesh: What he said, really meant and definitely didn’t

PR Sreejesh is not a runner.

What he said:

“I didn’t want to run! When i was selected to play professional hockey, i saw the coach sending boys off to run around the ground. This was not what i wanted to do. So, i picked up the hockey pad and stood there.”

PR Sreejesh divulges that he was not much for running around when it came to playing hockey and that is why he chose goalkeeping. His objective is preventing goals as against scoring them.

What he really meant:

“I’m lazy. I’m smart too. I wanted to play. So what do I do? I save goals. I’m brave when I’m protected. What more can a guy wish for?”

What he definitely didn’t:

“Self-goals are my thing.”
