MUMBAI—

Shane Warne has been offered the villain’s role in Dhoom3 by Yash Raj films.

The move comes as a surprise as Aamir Khan was initially signed on as the fresh, new villain in the series.

However, it is learnt that the Khan had a difference of opinion with Aditya Chopra about his role in the movie. He felt that his part was not meaty enough. The part has now gone to a man who has sworn off large portions of red meat.

Warne’s girlfriend, Elizabeth Hurley, is set to feature in the movie as Warne’s love interest and his evil henchwoman.

Mike Myers of “Austin Powers” fame has been roped in as well. He is expected to reprise the Verne Troyer “Mini-Me” role  from “Austin Powers in GoldMember for the lucrative Bollywood franchise.

“He has a bit part in the movie.” explained Aditya Chopra (pun unintended).

Elizabeth Hurley, however, will not play Vanessa Kensington. Yash Raj Chopra productions are still looking for someone to enact “Fat Bastard.”

Aditya Chopra is elated about his new signing.

“The cast is fully international. The characters’ wardrobe is courtesy Shane Warne’s clothing line, Spinners.” said Chopra.

“The movie will be a Dhoom meets Austin Powers film.” remarked Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom1 and Dhoom2 scriptwriter and director of Dhoom 3.

“Shane Warne is helping me rewrite parts of the story. His “spinning” skills are of immense value.” revealed Acharya.

Elizabeth Hurley enrolled with Saroj Khan to pick up some mandatory Bollywood dance moves. There is to be an “item number” pictured on the British actress much in the style of legendary screen vamp of yesteryears, Helen.
