The occasion was India becoming the first country to send a space craft into Mars’ orbit on its maiden attempt.
What he really meant:
“We need heroes from all spheres and professions—not merely sports and films.”
What he definitely didn’t:
“Now that’s what I’d term bowling a maiden over!”
